In 1948 William Burkavage, Sr., our firm's founder, completed his service in the US Navy and opened up a one man engineering practice in Scranton, PA. Since this modest beginning, we have grown and prospered as one of the pre-eminent architectural and engineering practices in Northeastern PA having completed more than $1 billion in construction projects during our 53-year history. Our offices in Clarks Summit are located in our state of the art office building, which we constructed in 1991. Our clientele is spread throughout the eastern US and encompasses both the government and private sectors. This work spans the entire US as well as overseas and ranges from major hospital expansions and large educational facilities to military work and lab and industrial commissions for some of the world's largest corporations. Over the course of 53 years, we have accomplished much for an ever-expanding spectrum of clients who have become repeat customers and lifelong friends.
